A new State of Play happened this week, with a large emphasis on Rocksteady’s new game Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League for PS5. While many people had high expectations going into it, as it has been 8 years since their latest main release Batman Arkham Knight, the gameplay was unfortunately met with underwhelming reception. People are criticizing its battle pass, always-online requirement and live service elements on top of the game itself not looking up to par with Rocksteady’s previous repertoire. The State of Play is considered even more disappointing than usual, as many people had already been eager to find out what’s next for the PlayStation 5, as we only currently know of Spider-Man 2 coming in 2023. Jeff Grubb recently indicated that Sony is preparing a major new PlayStation Showcase for 2023, where it will finally unveil what’s next from PlayStation Studios. In this video, I go over all the likely possibilities for game reveals we can expect. From the “Factions 2” Last of Us Multiplayer project, to the rumored Uncharted 5, Bluepoint Games’ next game, Ghost of Tsushima 2, Metal Gear Solid 3 which was rumored this week, and lots more.
