PlayStation Loses $25 Billion and Reduces PS5 Sales Forecast

PlayStation had to break some bad news to investors this week reporting that they would ship fewer PS5 consoles. The big PS5 news update is that they had to reduce the number of consoles they hope to sell in 2022, and that the PlayStation 5 did not meet the goals for 2021. The PS5 consoles sold so far are millions below what they expected and in the Sony financial report, this affected their bottom line. While PS5 news would hopefully be good for 2022, it does mean further stock reductions due to the shortage of parts.
